The South Australian Space Industry Centre today hosted more than 900 delegates at the 9th Australian Space Forum in Adelaide, South Australia.

Supported by the Australian Space Agency and SmartSat CRC, the biannual event provided the perfect opportunity to stimulate ideas, share information about emerging technologies and discuss industry trends.

Prof. Craig Smith, CEO EOS Space Systems participated in the Panel Discussion, Leap-frogging R&D to help build Australia’s Space Industry. The Session facilitated by Dr Christyl Johnson (Deputy Center Director for Technology and Research Investments, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center) included fellow panellists ; Prof Andy Koronios (Chief Executive Officer, SmartSat Cooperative Research Centre), Dr Sarah Pearce (Deputy Director, CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science), Bruno Versini (Chief Operating Officer, e-GEOS) and Dr Peter Woodgate (Chair, SmartSat CRC Board).
