22 Jan ADM Annual Survey of the Defence Industry
As a new entrant in this year’s ADM Annual Survey of the Defence Industry we are proud to announce our rankings in the:
Top 40 defence contractors of 2018 at #33
Top 20 defence SMEs at #3
Grant Sanderson, CEO EOS Defence Systems:
“2018 has been a breakout year for EOS Defence Systems, Grant Sanderson, EOS Defence CEO said to ADM. “This effort has been forged over 35 years of successful operations across two distinct business lines of remote weapons systems and space situational awareness. Growth of 360 per cent in revenues in a single year delivering high technology, Australian designed and manufactured products would be a tough challenge for any business. However, the EOS production and engineering teams in Hume in the ACT and Queanbeyan in NSW have proven up to the task.
It has been amazing and humbling to watch the Australian team overcome the many challenges to achieve these fantastic results. Winning the ACT Exporter of the year Award and preferred remote weapon system provider on Land 400 Phase 2 have been very fair recognition of the team’s dedication and performance.
Also in 2018 EOS Defence has added two new manufacturing and support facilities in the UAE and Huntsville, Alabama as well as securing additional new orders that will see revenues growing further in 2019 to exceed $200 million. It is an exciting time to be an Australian defence industry exporter and to see all the other Australian defence companies competing on the global stage and EOS Defence is really looking forward to the opportunities to come.”
